G'day all,

As I value the experience of members here, I would like to ask you all the best places to take the family camping in Victoria.

What I am looking for is somewhere that has a shower block (for the missus, she wont go anywhere unless there are showers there), grassy areas for the kids to play on, a river or a lake for me to fish, and somewhere that isnt to populated, so we can have some peace and quiet.

Dont matter how far from melbourne it is as long as its worth the drive to stay there a couple of days.

Can ya share ya secret spots with me?

Thanks

No! :)

But the shower is easy - a bucket of hot water and a $25 shower kit - I agree with your wife - but I always take my shower :)

There are lots of places near rivers/creeks in Vic which will provide shower water all you need to do is find one of them? Most camping books will suggest good sites.

Yeah its not my preferred way of camping, I prefer going bush than a commercial campground, but its still one of the the most picturesque commercial campgrounds you can get i think.
And supposed to be a few fish in the deeper pools.
