Hey guys..
Usually the right side of the posts would overlap onto the ads running down the right side of the screen and I wouldn't be able to properly read all the posts.
Now for the last few days the whole forum section has opened up so wide that I have no visual whatsoever of what we would normally see running down on the left of the screen, (all the tips, facts, who's currently on etc) and I am not having full visual on the right side of the screen, only see half of what is there.
Any ideas? It can't be any of my settings because nothing has been changed.

Cheers
Jo

Is it just me????? just thinking, or has it changed this way and we just don't have what was usually on the left of the screen and be able to see who is currently on etc.

Try your settings in properties. I have mine set on 1224 x 768 because I run a wide screen, 1024 x 768 is good for a normal monitor makes the desktop Icons smaller , if your settings have gone to 800x600 that would cause the side of the picture to overlap the screen,
Since I have got the wide screen there is no way I could go back to the square screen, Photo's are fantastic , at first I had the wrong setting, cars and people were out of shape ,

Run a refresh to erase old settings in the cache. (Ctrl + refresh button)

Gronk,

'refresh button' is actually an icon on your toolbar ( a blue arrow in a sort of semi circle action to the right in Firefox2. The third from left on toolbar). Otherwise it can be a Refresh or Reload option in a drop down list generally under View.

my screen res was still what I always have it as, I changed it so 1024 apply then changed it back to 800 where it always is then applied and it changed back to how I would normally have visual of the site.
Must be something to do with the site though, because I never have a problem with any other.
We'll see what continues to happen!

800 pixel width display was update the other day and the decission made was to remove the LHS section on 800 wide displays. This was the only choice to allow us to fit the 728px wide system display. We moved the Search option and all Topic Search into the menu to support this change so the only thing you miss currently is the Latest News, Tips Quotes, Current users and Page stats. We must keep up with the layout requirements and I am trying my best for the 800px displays. I thought during testing that you would be happy as you get to see a lot more of the post on the screen at one time.

I am definately happy that I can see all the threads and stuff now!
But did like to always see who was currently on the forum, was real handy in case you had to catch up with someone and if you saw they were on the forum you knew they were around. what about link to it under one of the topics?
