I think I know the answer but just in case there is a "secret spot".......other than
places like Rosebud or St Leonards camping areas, is there anywhere on Port Phillip Bay that you can pull up in a boat and pitch a tent (legally!)?
Any other great spots anyone would like to share around Victoria that are only accessible by boat? A few around Eildon I'm aware of, particularly when the levels are a bit healthier.
Thanks,
Adrian

Glenelg river national park. Many campsites only accessable by canoe or boat.

Would be one of the best or equal to anywhere in Aussie, for peace and quiet scenery in a boat camping- without a doubt. Nick

Geez Adrian, Eildon? Eildon? You are planning ahead........ Have you thought about the Gippsland Lakes? There are heaps of
places round there. The Murray down stream of Lake Hume at the moment.
Lake Dartmouth but that must be dropping as so much was running out down the lower Mitta this week.

Another one for the Gippsland Lakes. Great camping along the banks of the
Tambo, Hollands Landing etc etc.
It's just the best part of Victoria.

Some lovely quiet spots on Wilsons Prom - e.g. Tin
Mine Cove, Refuge Cove. Also various islands in Nooramunga M&CP. See info at www.parkweb.com.au
