PS to the last re smoking. I don't mind a few fags glowing around a campfire. Each to their own there! ... But I do move if the smoke [fire, orfag] hits me!

My better 3/4 and I are travelling up to Stockman's Hall of Fame 'cos it's there... taking 3 weeks to travel from Gippsland in Vic up outback NSW and QLD until we get there. Will probably work a couple of days..... but what's to see?Royce www.funshow.com.au

One hard question to answer ,"whats to see," stockmans hall of fame, quantas museum ,ect, in Longreach itself the Gunadoo c/van park is worth the trip all by itself for the bush poet sessions around the camp fire.

We spent an easy 6 hours in the Hall of Fame and another half a day at the Quantas Founders Museum. There is so much to see on the Matilda Way, don't miss Winton and if you are passing, stop at the Blue Heeler pub at Kynuna, we had a great night there.

Happy trails, Mike.

Is it "Quantas" or "Qantas" when you are talking about the museum?

I know it meand Queensland and Northern Territory Air Service (or something like that). I'm not aware that there was a spelling change for the name though.
