Can anyone please advise a good place to leave a camper trailer before heading up to the tip, eg
Cairns or
Cooktown. To save a hassle we intend to leave the trailer and
camp in a tent for our 10 or 14 days at the cape and then continue the trip around Australia, also cost would be handy.

Wal,
You won't have any trouble getting your trailer to
Cooktown. Try
Cooktown Tropical Breeze Caravan Park (07) 40695417 or Peninsula Caravan Park (07) 40695107. CP's will usually store trailers and vans but I don't know what they charge. When are you going up? I will be in
Cooktown 15/16 August before heading up to the Cape.
