Does anyone know of 4WD (with roof racks) friendly car parks in
Sydney City?
The open air car park on Margaret and Kent is now out of action.
Cheers,
Stuart

Is the
Goulburn St
Parking Station still there??
That used to have high clearance if I remember correctly...

Yep,
Goulburn St is still there Truckster. The Entertainment Centre
parking down near the Darling Harbour Convention Centre is not too bad
about 2.0m clearance from memory (could be 2.1 or 2.2). The Queen Victoria Building gave me an adrenaline rush with its 1.8m clearance. My slightly raised Hilux with high roof canopy just cleared it. Took it very slowly driving through the joint though. The other car park down at Darling Harbour is 2.0m or 1.8m(if not lower). I am not sure about the Harris St
carpark though. I think it has a fairly high clearance (if it is the Harris St car park I am talking about - am thinking of the one with the car museum in it)

Yep...the Harris St car park is very good. Lots of clearance. The one under the convention centre at Darling Harbour is 1.8m so give that a miss.

Down the other end of town, the Westin Hotel (cnr Martin Place and Pitt) offers 2.1m. Its just a bit too short with the roof basket on. Also a bit on the expensive side (no surprise for the city).
Cheers,
Stuart

Hey Eric,
In between trips I fill the rack sack with foam for the look. Damned if I'll compromise that just for a car park :-)
The families good thanks; hope all is
well with yours too.Cheers,
Stuart
