Can anyone tell me about Nissan Pathfinders in the bush and on other ridgy didge 4WD tracks? What year did they start making their 2.5 ltr turbo diesel - what are they like?

Near the end of this video is a new Pathfinder in action, you make up your own mind?

lol!, I don't think that video in the above post has any relevance to the capabilities of the Pathfinder - definitely demonstrates the value of doing some
driver training though!
If you want some info on the Pathfinder then
check out the Pathfinders' Club of Australia

I don't know much about them. I have heard that they have been using the motor in Europe for a number of years without any problems. Australian conditions are different though.
I do know that I went to take a Pathfinder for a
test drive. I couldn't as there is such a lack of head room that I could not fit in it.
And for those of you who know me and are about to have a go - the problems was my height not my girth.

Pathfinders are a very capable in a multitude of situations especially that they are a bit smaller then the "big" 4WD's. Excellent around town and great in the bush and beach. The list of aftermarket accessories available is growing all the time.
