Hi guys,

Anyone got a favoured supplier (in Melbourne) for a Waeco CF40. I need to get one b4 Easter but of course I want it at the cheapest price with the full warranty, so that excludes www.fridgeshop.com.au

What sort of price did he do?

Do all fridges require those travel bag/cover things to help keep them colder?

Truckster,

Feel free to ring John for a price - Let's just say the first few slabs will be on him. With regard to the insulation bags it appears that the operating conditions such as outside temperature and power supply will determine whether one is necessary. S'pose I'll have the definitive answer in about twelve months time.

I know this won't help Wombat, but it may help those looking for a Waeco in Sydney.

DO NOT go to Town & Country in Beverly Hills!

I bought an FF30 from them that turned out to be used, and it took a month of furious phone calls and finally with some help from the local Waeco rep, I managed to get it replaced with a new one. But be warned, the attitude from Town & Country was, and I quote "we don't care"

Even when I said I would involve the Dept. of Fair Trading, Town & Country believed they didn't have to comply with Fair Tradings' laws!
