I have been using these on my two trailers for about six months. They were great initially to determine if the trailer or the cruiser was faulty. After fixing the cruiser wiring, they now work every time as they should. I always suspected the trailers particularly the boat one as it gets wet.
Great product.

Just for your info, Frew have just produced the 1500th Phantom comic. It is now without doubt the longest running comic in the world and has been published in Australia now for about 58 years. I have in my collection most memoriabilia that is available in Australia.
I also have 'Phantom0' number plate on my Cruiser and 'Deepwoods' on my purple trailer.

The Auto leccies will stuff you up Dave.
They will start using multicored cable with 7 black wires.
That will take you a while to figure out:-)
Actually, it's suprising how many faulty installations end up being poorly connected wiring, generally not enough insulation stripped back.

Oh those scotch connectors are superb are'nt they LOL LOL almost guaranteed to fail when you need them most. I was told it was in fact illegal in NSW to use them in critical applications i.e. brake controllers...

As I am sure you are aware (others may not be), these plugs will enable you to wire up & check the connections up to the plug on the vehicle side. They will not assist in any way determining if there is a problem, or figuring out what the problem is, if there is a problem with the wiring of anything that is being towed (connected to the vehicle plug).
