Does anyone know the difference between the normal blackwolf turbo tent and the turbo Lite ? ?

So far I have determined the Lite is made of a different material and is obviously lighter.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge between the two?

Is the Lite material less waterproof and less resiliant, etc, etc.

Thanks all, I think the blackwolfs are perfect for my needs after reading the past posts on this forum, now require info to help me choose between the two models

Ta!

That is the only difference i know - the Turbo is the polycotton canvas and the TurboLite is Polyester. The floor is also a different material - Turbo = Heavy duty PVC vs TurboLite = Polyethylene.

The Turbo comes in 210x210, 240x240 and 300x300 whilst the only difference with the TurboLite is the middle one which is 250x250. The aluminium poles are also 2 mm thinner which would account for the lighter weight. The TurboLite is about 6kg lighter as well.

I don't know if one is more waterproof than the other, but I imagine the polycotton canvas would be stronger.

I own the Turbo 240.

Check out the inflateable tent on the Bushranger website, looks like it would go up quicker than a blackwolf turbo, and would be a lot lighter. Pity bout the price though but i spose we can expect a lot of competition soon.

Medson,
The materials are different(lighter on the turbo lite) and also the turbo light dosent have a undercover area at the frot like an anexx. I have a turbo 2.4 and it is a awesome bit of kit. I carry it around under the bed in our caravan for when we leave the van and go ofroad. I was tossing up between the turbo and the oz tent. The oz tent is just to long to store anywhere other than the roof rack. We did a quick trip over to sydney at christmas time with no van and just tent. We camped all the way and the tent was really good.
