We did the tour out of the Big 4 van park. Pretty good and not expensive. Did the church, a house, and museum + a trip around the town with all the commentary. Was freezing cold and we did some noodling around an old spoil dump. Not bad and quite entertaining and educational.

The Big 4 caravan park tour was run by a retired miner named Rudy. He was a real character and so informative. This was in September 2006. We are not usually tour types but it was a highlight for us and it wasn't that much to spend. Chris.
