Has anyone found a purpose made stand for a porta-potti?

These units seem about half the height of a normal toilet and although it fits under the caravan bed when traveling it is too low for a tall person to use comfortably.

Thanks Alloy c/t for sharing that site. We need a knock down stand for all of the reasons outlined. I wouldn't have been game to ask the folks on Eo especially with some of their sharp senses of humour.

Pleased someone else was game to ask and .... you knowledgable about the answer.

Must be some funny weather in SA at the moment as nowhere is copyright mentioned , only thing close to copyright is that the article [ as in the written word ] may not be reproduced without permission , no mention at all of intellectual copyright.

Yep ! I made one like the one on capertrailer web site and it works a treat.

Made it the same height as the dunny at home so when I back up to it in the dark like the rest of the boys do I just have to drop a couple of inches........................................................................................... to the seat....

Missus likes it as well -------- the stand I mean....

Grrr!!!

this was really easy ..for the female seating position.find a scrap piece of laminated chipboard, cut to size of your potty base allowing a couple of inches all around sit the board on 2x1,put the 1" part of the wood to the floor making a frame and attatch to board to it.When not in use turn upside down putting the potty inside the frame and you've got a good size ..... happy pottying lol

Turist, you could also try a milk crate.
You can store items in it while you are not using & when you need to use it for the potti just turn it upside down.

Sounds a bit 'high' (pardon the pun), but if the portapotti fits a milk crate, why not make a form ply 'lid' for the crate to sit the potti on leaving stored items (eg toilet paper, chemicles etc) intact?... another duel purpose item! Or make a purpose built 'crate' for same.

Mate. mine didnt come with instructions.

In the outback where there has been a drought for the last few years you can only scrape off the top couple of inches and the rest is as hard as a rock.

We use the large Fiama plastic step with a sheet of that grippy sheeeting stuff that stops stuff bouncing around in the van. No extra to carry, always ready to use !
