My wife and I are looking at a new camper trailer (tent style with soft floor). We have seen the Camel Camper Trailer with the 13 feet extended tent at the Sydney Camping Show which also looks to us to be a good quality unit.

We would appreciate any feedback good and bad from people who have had experience with these soft floor campers.

Research continues!

Thanks
JTC

JTC,
I had a good look at Camel when I was looking for a camper trailer.
Quality canvas work, some good ideas and a above average build quality where obvious pluses in their favour.
They have a good range of kitchen levels from nothing to the lot.
Did I buy one? no, but it was a close thing.
One of the members of my 4x4 club has one and he is happy with it.
What I ended up with was a Lifestyle Explorer plus, and I'm happy with it and the deal I got when I bought it.
I thought the Lifestyle had a better finish and better water/dust sealing, but thats my opinion.
Have a look here, www.campertrailers.org/ and here
Site Link and
www.camelgroup.com.au/

Both Camel and Lifestyle are similar in quality, price, and options, both are soft floor campers rangeing from $6000 thru to $13000 ish.
Enjoy the hunt

Pete
