Spent a few nights on the net looking for the best AGM battery. From the
forum is seems that the Fullriver seems to be a reasonable bet.
Anyone know who stocks them in
Sydney ?

Hey Vince,
I was in the same situation 4 months ago. The Fullriver was what I found to be the best too. After researching the best price in Syd I spoke with Alco who didn't have stock of Fullriver but said Ritar was the same battery just different brand (and I needed it in a hurry), so took the chance.
With only 4 months use I can't say too much but I can't fault it yet.
What I can say is that the Guys at Alco provided great service. They are based in Penrith and I work in the City, I paid with plastic over the phone and get it delivered to me the next day. I was very impressed. As a guide i get a 90AH for $220.
I think they have a warehouse or depo at Granville (the invoice is a little confusing and my memory isn't so good.)

Vince, I like the term "reasonable bet" but fullriver are not the 'best' - just one of the least expensive, i cel em here in wa, there are other brands available if you want the 'best' performance.
Because of their low price Fullriver are more prolific than the more expensive brands, Concorde is world leader in AGM technology, yes it's expensive, but if there has to be a compromise you have to start at the top and work your way down the list.
Compare warranty information on various brands, some have a stated 'life expectancy' of 10+ years some only have 1 year, the question is why the big difference in time, the answer is simply the quality of internal components.
