Fitting dual batteries in GU Patrol

I have the TJM fitting kit, just wondering where is the best place to fit the switch box. Has anyone fitted one of these kits.

By the "switch box" I assume you mean the Isolator Unit?

Normal place is on the rear firewall in the Engine bay, central to the location of both batteries.

I think you meam the led display that lets you check the level of each battery. If so I put mine just below the right hand vent and mounted it into the plastic

A dry place like the drivers side of the brake booster below and to the drivers side of the wiper motor is pretty good, remember that anywhere on the passengers side of the motor gets Quite hot from the exhaust manifold and turbo.
