5 litre metal jerry can-Are they still available?

Hi all ,
Does anyone know if it is still possible to purchase a 5 litre metal jerry can?Want one to carry small quantity of petrol for the genny, but all I see locally available is plastic!!!Any help in finding a supplier will be most appreciated.Wanted something stronger than the mower fuel type tin cans ,

Mary they certainly are. Aussie disposals have them but you may have to shop around. These ones look like a shrunken version of the 20ltr size ones, the outlet is the same size though. Blackwoods also have new ones which are half the height of the 20 ltr ones. I find these ones more useful and the fit in the carrier for full size jerries.

OOPS, didn't read your post properly. They are 10 ltr not 5ltr ! Never seen a 5 litre jerry.

Yes Mary the 10 litre ones are, we use a heap of them for work, and i get the good quality ones in through my local autopro store

Yes you can get a 5ltr metal jerry. See them a the local mower shop here in SA.
Make the call to them and they may be able to give you some details that help you source 1 in your location.

Even Bunnings sell 5 lt metal jerry cans. Only Red Petrol one's only, not Yellow Diesel.

Not sure about size at this distance from observation but did see a bloke carrying a stainless steel jerry away from Sydney camping etc show about 3 weeks ago--it was probably a 10 litre in retrospect and I probably might have bought one if I had seen them in the show somwhere.
