Evening all,

I'm back home in sunny Tamworth after driving to Adelaide to collect my Trak Shak CT last week. Had a work mate as travel mate and we both enjoyed the trip. Went over via Cobar and Broken Hill and came back via Mildura and Dubbo. The Nissan towed the CT with ease and, as expected used a bit more fuel - avg on the drive over - about 14l per 100 k's, on return about 19l per 100 k. The CT towed and it's now parked in my driveway having other things done to it - fitting the 3 stage battery charger is now done.
Now all I have to do is find more time off work to get to use it - off to a clay target shoot near Millmerran week after next.

Cheers

G'day Willie,

Thanks mate, they are a great CT and boy does it create interest wherever we went. Even in the Barossa Valley at the vineries, I was answering questions about it.

Cheers

The original owner and developer of Trak Shak gave me a stack of brochures when I bought mine.

When I asked for more he sent them wrapped in a carton. Nice.

Company has changed hands now though.

My TS is over 10 years old now and is showing the signs of many thousands of km in the bush. Nothing serious just cosmetics. You will have many years of trouble free camping if you just look after the basics. Congratulations on what I believe is an excellent choice in a home away from home.

Morning Duncs

I looked long and hard before I decided on the TS and now that I've got it I love it. Looking fwd to using it at every opportunity I can make.
Peter Bollmeyer and Ray Paynter are the Directors of TS these days and seem to know what they are all about.

Cheers

G'day MUZBRY

Tamworth is still a great city, usual problems with the locals ?? and the other riff raff about the place but I moved here about 10 years ago with work and have no intention of ever leaving - except of course to use the Trak Shak. We have a bit of a water supply problem what with the drought but 1 of these days it will rain again - I think !!

Congrats on the Trak Shak, we have a Aussie built one.

The new owner leaves alot to be disired, we found them not so helpful.

It seems they are fantastic before you buy but after that forget it, we arn't the only ones to have this trouble.

Check out this site www.campertrailers.org/index.html

And get onto Yahoo groups.

Regards Richard
