Heading up to CY from
Sydney for last 2 weeks of July & all of August.
For all you who have been there before at this time - is it necessary to book campsites such as
Kalpowar Crossing, Elliot falls, Chilli Beach & Loyalty Beach or are there generally spots available if we just turn up?
Cheers
Perry

When we were there 2 years ago it wasn't necessary. Elliot Falls can get busy but I'm not sure you can book in any event, tho someone here will probably know.
We'll be heading back up that way in July and don't intend making any special effort in that regard.
Cheers

No bookings required last year.
As mentioned Elliot Falls can be a problem, but you can
camp by the river just north for free.
