Try Hogwash Bend just out of Waikerie, or Morgan Caravan Park or Burra Gorge about 20k's out of Burra on the Morgan Road.

Hi Flannel, Why would you be coming through Waikerie on your way to Burra? If you are coming from Adelaide, its easier to go straight to Morgan, then Burra and if you are coming from the Mildura way then Renmark, Monash and turn right and up to Morgan also.

If you are coming out of Waikerie then Hogwash is a really nice spot as Des says, if Burra Gorge is to far then there are quite a few spots to get off the road between Morgan and Burra.

G day Pesty !
How's it all going ?
We are off next weekend to Hedley ( near Welshpool ) , I finally snagged another long weekend, ( from shift ) on an actual long weekend,, so its off to the scrub ,, well the edge of it anyway.
My luck it will "hiss" down. and I get the flu ,,, but then again thats what its all about

Say g'day to the rest of the crew over there '

Roachie not tipped over the " Titanic " yet ?
Must be a carefull ( lucky ) driver, that thing he has needs lowering a little is it "lists" too much for mine
But as I said to you once b4,, its his money, and as long as he is happy then its ok

Cheers for now
Bucky

Hi Flannel,
There is a good spot, bush camp, at Morgan if you would like to avoid the C/Park.
If you come from Waikerie/Cadell, when you are approx. 100m from the queing point for the Morgan ferry, take the road on your right, and follow it for a little way, keeping to the left when the road turns right, and go in there and there are plenty of places to camp right on the water, opposite the S A Water pumping station.

Cheers Pesty

Hi Flannel,

On Morgan Burra section there is off road parking/ camping on N side of road, signposted with a blue P sign, approx 20kms E of Burra in the Mallee Scrub. Only tables, no other facilities,
