Can anyone tell me what the condition of the Track is like between
Lyndhurst and
Oodnadatta? Driving an 80 series, towing a van, with independent susp. and light truck tyres. Had a friend drive along there several years ago with a Commodore towing a van, and just about shook the van to bits!..

was there last week, the road is in good condition. Best looking TRACK you will come across!

Was also there last week, in excellent condition, could sit on 100kmh quite safely.

maybe not quite 100 Peter!!! But agreed very clean road at the moment.

Actually every bit of 100km/h Greg, we had motorbike riders from
Sydney on BMW GS 1150's passing us. They at times were doing 130km/h. I know because we camped with them at
Oodnadatta Caravan Park.
