I am looking at buying a replacement set of Lovells Springs and TJM Series 2000 shocks with a 2 inch lift for a medium load rating for my GU4.2TD. Anyone got any experience with that combination? It is the daily driver and only carries weight when we go away every now and then. Any need for a lesser or greater lead rating? Cheers Phil

I think 4wd Monthly did a feature on Lovells coils, and a couple of different brands of shocks in their May issue. Check it out, it mite help a little.

Hi Phil,

I own an 80 Series Cruiser and upgraded the suspension in it recently.
I put on a set allround with enforcer shocks and springs through Tuff Stuff 4WD ($850 all up, fitting extra). It gave about an extra 2 inches on the front and about 3 inches on the back. I tow a Jayco camper and the ride is great, no more sagging. Also fine with no load as well.
Hope this helps.

Stolzy.

I had XGS shocks and TJM Series 2000 springs (I think thats what you mean) on my GQ with their 3inch lift, and was very happy with it.

they are now on another GQ in Sydney, still going strong, been to the cape and center too.

Id go with them again if I wanted a small lift. They are a little rougher but that could be cause my original shocks and springs were 200,000klms old!

I havent heard of Iron Man. Are they re-named Lovells or slightly different? Do they cost less and do they make shocks as well? Are the available in Sydney? regards, Phil
