on the nullabore you don't book.
there are plenty of roadside places to stay ..
and even if you want a park, you just rock up ...well I do
have fun

No real caravan parks as such, no the motels are not pet friendly. There are quite good boarding kennels in Port Augusta and Whyalla. There is a boarding kennel in Kalgoorlie but it use to look like something you might see on 'Today Tonight' or ACA. There are a couple of good pet friendly accommodation places around Perth, but between there and Port Augusta, there isn't much other than parking bays. When we were travelling with our cat we were able to sneak it in to motel bathrooms for overnight stops, but a dog would be a bit different.

Regards

Snowy

Hi peaco we did the trip from Sydney to Esperance about 3 years ago and had a dog if you can find the Life Be In IT Travelling with dogs book it is very useful, we had no problems finding C/P's that would us at Border Village (W.A/ S.A border), Ceduna was a bit of a dodgy park but there was another one that we did not find, there is a good park in the middle of Pt Augusta. I am pretty sure the rest of S.A is dog friendly but good luck in Victoria and Tassie.
P.S. Did not need to book anywhere across the.

Hope this helps you
