I'm looking to join a 4WD club in Brisbane suitable for a novice who owns a Pathfinder. Apart from wanting to take the occassional trip I wish to experience some offroad training from people in the know to improve my skill base and preparation.I don't see myself as a mud runner or hill climber but one who wishes to experience the beauty that the outdoors has to offer with like minded people. Sorry this sounds like a ad for a partner...wrong!!. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi Patrick, If you want to be trained, invest a ittle time and money and go to an accredited 4wd trainer, explain your situation to him and discuss your requirements. I guarantee you will learn more in a comprehensive 1 day course with a trainer than you would in many days learning with a more socially oriented 4wd club. There is no better way to become confident and competent in both your own and your vehicles abilities than time spent with an accredited 4wd trainer.
