Am travelling from Rocky through the Mt Morgan area & south on the Burnett .. so far there seems to be no pinic-stop 20P stops... but have found the excellant one at Dululuru... I would like to go offroad a little and am going to get some suggestion of where to stay between here and toowoomba...

Mate, not sure just what you want, but the free camp at Baralaba is good. Dead as dog poop if you don't fish.
That 'beach' place, just west of Cracow, is another fair spot.
Boondooma dam(near Proston), is good value.

RBT, other folk will help with other sites.
Safe travels eh.
Jeff.
ps. worked in Baralaba in 1968.
Don't Ask. jh.

There are two nice picnic spots at Theodore - one through town down near the junction of Castle Creek and the Dawson River (with facilities); the other at the eastern side of the Dawson river on the highway to Taroom near the weir (no facilities).

Another nice spot a little off the main road is at Isla Gorge, between Theodore and Taroom.
Come any closer and I'll rip your throat out!
