They probably all have blown 4G64 engines (snapped crank at #4 bigend). When
mine exploded in
Jugiong a few years ago, the towie said "Yeah, they all do that" !!!!!! The engine place in
Sydney said the same thing........
Mitsubishi - "The Curse Of The 3 Diamonds" :-))

I picked
mine up in the
gold coast in June 2005 for $200 and it got me to
Cardwell over about 2 weeks - and the day after the rego ran out... Funny thing was I pulled up to the servo at
Cardwell (not the BP the other one further up) to put $30 in it to get me to
Cairns and after that it just didn't start again.... It was droping about 1 litre of oil every 100km (sorry motorcyclists) so there was oil all over the motor and probably in the distrubutor - Apart from that the steering was really loose and would follow the grooves in the road... I just couldn't be arsed fixing the thing cause of the circumstances and the fact I just wanted to get to
Cairns... Pretty irresponsible I know, but some kid in
Cardwell is probably having having a great time in the back paddocks now - I left a
sign on it saying "Free Car and $30 Fuel" with the key in the ignition.... Amazing how far a $200 camper will get you!!!
