TJM roof rack/basket on 80 series

Have alluminum TJM roofrack is made of square box section with bar across it
which way do I mount it i.e. which end does the most over hang go too?

Don't know about the overhang Graham but I would assume the front of the rack would be angled. The bottom would protrude a bit compared to the top so that a wind deflector could be mounted with a sloped back angle.

Both ends of the rack are completly square, it is not angled for a wind deflector, a 80 series roof gutter is not straight, the only difference in the rack is one end over hangs more than the other on the mounts

Graham & Lynne, look at the uprights on the roofrack. Then position them to match the B and C pillars and that should show you the correct fit.
