For the owners of a T-Van, which way do you lie in bed ??
If you lie with your head up the far end, how do you get up out of bed without hitting your head ??
If you lie the other way, how do you stop the pillow from falling off the end of the bed ?? And if you lie this way, do you do a pirroette on your bum to get your legs around to get down ??

Gronk,
If you sleep with your head at the front and feet sticking out position then you should drink lots of red wine the night before and if you hit your head it will already be hurting and you wont notice...so much.
Vice versa sleeping see above. Or tell the pillows to behave or they will go to the "naughty corner"
Seriously though if you work it out let me know. Thats why my wife would not let me buy one.
Best of luck

I really liked them, but bought a KK..
With the KK (and a lot of others ) you sleep with your feet at the entry point of the bed, so getting out is just a matter of sliding feet 1st down onto the ground !!
But with a T-Van, if you did it that way, you would hit your head trying to get it off the bed !!

I have often wondered the same thing. I think I would get claustrophobic with my head down the other end as
well - plus the vibrations from my wife's snoring would shake the whole van :-)))

A : Same as in any bed , 4 options . 1 on your back, 2 on your belly , 3 on your left side and no. 4 which is my personal favourite on your right side , , as for where your head is the Chinese always say it should be to the North.

Ask Andrew&Jen.
They have (or had) one and would know of any restrictions they found.

usually we sleep with heads at far end, have never hit head as I get up, and if you are short enough you can sleep across the bed.

We normally sleep with our heads up the low end, makes it easier to get out if you need a leak in the middle of the night, a lot easier than trying to spin around 180 degrees & trying not to wake the wife up???? One downside is when you want to engage in a bit of Monkey Business there's no head room ( position dependant) LOL. Must admit I haven't got too many bumps on the head???
But they are a great bit of gear, as the saying goes its all in the eye of the beholder???
Cheers Steve.

G,day Gronk
We sleep with our heads up the high end. I was worried at first that pillows might fall over the edge but it doesn't happen often and even when they do, the ledge catches them most of the time. One of the best reasons to sleep this way is that you have the huge windows to look out. We watched a real donnybrooke over a generator at Mary Pool last year where one of the combatants was going to get his 30 (.303 rifle) out. Thought we might be witnesses to a shooting for a while.
Cheers
Peter
