Are these worth the money and which is the best combination to have??

www.staunproducts.com/masso_air.php

I am considering getting one instead of a normal pressure cleaner.

Thanks
Kev

They look good and like a good compromise for a dedicated pressure cleaner.

I own the masojet water only job and it has been beneficial, especially for getting in and under the car. the pressure from it is reasonable, so I could see the addition of air as a benefit.

My only gripe with the masojet products is that they use a ball valve with a twisting lever. This can be awkward at times especially if you have your other hand full. A trigger action lever would be more beneficial and more practicable IMO.

Otherwise a good product. Mine sits next to the tap in the sun and weather (atleast I think its still there, best I check) and has shown minimal signs of fatigue due to UV etc. Its been there for about 18months now.

Agree Mike.

I have the same one myself.
Good for removing mud, etc. from underneath the vehicle and trailer and it is very simple to use.

I have had mixed results when using it for other purposes, but it works for the primary purpose I bought it for.

I elected for the water only model, as the addition of air brings with it the hassle of getting out the compressor, etc. and putting putting everything away again when finished.

Delving into the depths of memory, $60. However I may be wrong. I got mine from an ARB store from memory.

Hi Kev,

I have the pressure hose, water only, extension and it works quite well at getting to the tricky spots (behind the bumpers, under the fuel tanks etc.). Seems to do what it says it will.

Save your money on the detergent attachment, mine uses up the (small) reservoir in not time flat!

Just looked and can't see it on their website so maybe they don't do it any more...

Have a good one,

Ross.

Good idea Kev, bet there not selling too many in Sth Oz, and any other place that has water restictions, not even allowed to use hose or pressure cleaners.
I would still prefer my pressure cleaner, but would be good addition for under car cleaning.

I have had one since they were released, work really well.

I also chuck it in the car when travelling, it will work ok for cleaning things with my ShurFlo Water Pump and Air compressor / tank in short bursts to clean numberplates / tyres / rims / radiators etc when touring.

Love it.
