At
Innamincka there are the old favourites, Coongie Lakes,
the Dig Tree, Burke's and Will's
grave sites etc. but my favourite is the Aboriginal rock carvings. You drive down
Cullyamurra Waterhole heading east as far as you can go.
Park and walk easterly for about half an hour. The rocks are on the southern side of the
Creek near where the Cooper narrows. Other than that, sitting on the bank, having a beer and fishing is
well worth doing. Save up the fat from the Yellowbellies and throw it to the pelicans and whistling kites.
Have a great holiday,
Bob

steep point every year its an awesome place but havnt been for a couple years. The cliffs with a big swell can look amazing and Im sure you'll get some great photos. Im heading up there to
steep point for a couple nights then over to dirk hartog island for a week hopefully end of july depending if my cars back from the panel beaters, but thats a whole nother story. Looks like a good trip, all the best mate.
