Valley Vineyard Tourist Park, Cessnock. Some friends and I stayed there earlier this year when we went up to see the late, great Billy Thorpe.

You can read a report about it

Maitland, which is some 30mins drive from Cessnock, has two Caravan Parks. Do not be tempted to stay at these parks. Avoid them like the plague.

I thought the question was about bush camping not caravan parks.

Watagans NP. Or on the road side / river side park at Broke. This would prob be better, General store across the road and closer to the wine yards. I have seen other campers there at times.

Hi

Free camp beside the pub at wollembi, good meals at the pub with a shower & toilet available although i would ring the pub first to check that this is still the case as it's been two years since we last stopped there. There is also about 20 vineyards within 15km radius.
