Don't do it !!
There is another post about the Anne Beadell somewhere here?
I came across 2 weeks ago from west to east - the track from Emu to
Mabel Creek is terrible to say the least. The WA bit of the track is good.
I met 2 vehicles that had come up from
Cook, a much better option I think.

We did Anne Beadell Hwy- C/P to
Neale Junction then up to
Warburton.
Solo vehicle in '05. No problems, just drive to the conditions and have a great time.
say Hi to Bill the Black Dog at Illkulka.
Ok- the roads are heavily corrugated in sections- mainly E of Emu- but like any 'outback' roads- don't expect expressway conditions.
There will be other vehicles out and about at that time, only you may not see any for a day or two.
Just do it !!!

We too!
Should be leaving
Coober Pedy on or about 24th Jul, doing same trip as Signman did. From Neale, up the CS, then the GB.
Might see you - we're a Troopy and a Terrcan, and we'll be on Ch 10. "We" = me, my brother, my cousin and my brother-in-law.
There have been a few people advised as Colin has, but the majority seem to say Take it slowly, let the tyres down to about 18, and enjoy it.
Spoke to Anne Beadell this morning, and she said it's still pretty rough, but as far as she knows, not
water-logged.
I'll have one spare wheel and two extra cases, and the Terracan will have 2 spare
wheels.
Look out for the ExplorOz member stickers on my Troopy.
We'll be very happy to bump into you (!) however many times, but we don't want to convoy - we're doing the AB and the CS and then the GB because we want remoteness and isolation.
Wonder if other ExplorOzers will be out there?
I believe it's very worthwhile to turn left at Neale and go about 50km down to
Neale Breakaways.
Graham.
PS Hi Signman, thanks for all your tips and stories.

I agrre with your comments Graham.
Neale Breakaways is great and so is the remoteness out there. Beautiful country.
We are completing our unfinished section from
Neale Junction to
Laverton in Sept.
Can't wait.

Hi Signman,
Thanks for the message.
Yeah, we leave the Sunday or Monday after you go. Brother (Phil) sold his business, which delayed us. Should have gone two days ago. I'm sure he'll have some tom thumbs to use at the appropriate place.
Hope you guys have a great trip, and hope any tarping you do creates exactly the sort of wave you want it to. I hope we don't have to do any!!!
Andy (the geologist) has just got an
HF radio ( Barrett 250HF SSB with Selcall), and joined VKS737, callsign R2429 and Selcall 2429. He bought it on eBay, and hasn't got it set up yet - but not far off.
Cheers.
