Hi rbt
I would check the data sheets for the specs.
I heard the Honda uses an aluminum sleeve and they glaze up at low loads, I have not heard this complaint with the Yamaha.
Perhaps other will know.
I run the Honda eu2.0 and am very happy with it. It is now 5 years old and runs like new. I keep it in a generator box on my van.
Regards
Derek.

Got a picture of how you have set up the box and generator?
Can you run it in the box?
Cheers

I run it only for short periods in the box, (Boil the jug or use the microwave).
I have made an exhaust extension that allows the hot exhaust gas out the box. I only run the unit with the door open. Never closed.

On their respecitive spec sheets, there is only a couple of db in it - who knows in reality - both are quiet - I use the Yam - quite happy with it.

Ask the "
Warraweena Warriors" to perform a definitive
test.
Roachie has a Yammy. Just need someone else with a Honda.
They could run them at opposite ends of the
camping area and see who gets the most abuse:-))

I don't think using Roachies would be fair,
He has probably worked the motor over and it most likely has a higher output than the standard one LOL
