Ah speeding. Just returned from a trip into NSW (
Sydney). If ever there is justifiable need for Speed Cameras, Lasers and whatever else then NSW is the ideal place. As a motorist with many many years driving experience, I was disgusted at the poor driving displayed by locals including blatant disregard for and obvious arrogance regarding speed limits, lane changing, lack of indicators, failing to keep left, tail gating and so on. With such poor driving displayed I suggest that NSW Police should continue their campaign against such blatant lack of compliance of road traffic laws. Of course that is dependant on actually seeing let alone finding a uniformed Police Officer. Perhaps that's one of the big problems - a lack of uniformed mobile (active and productive) Police Officers. The best advice re beating speeding fines - DON'T SPEED.

Speed cameras aren't going to catch anything except speeding and most of that is for very small amounts over the limits.
Coppers on the road who are interested in more than minor speeding offences are what improves driver behaviour.
That rules out most of the cops on WA roads where all those things you mention are just the normal every day manner of driving.

Not sure...but I dont think he was saying we should all speed.
I took the post as saying improper use of speed cameras could result in getting a speeding fine when you might not have to pay it.

That article is a load of crap.
If someone tries to defend a matter because a police officer did not adhere to an OH&S requirement then they are clutching at straws. Its a departmental proceedure, not a lawful one.
The fact of the matter is they were still speeding and got caught.
I hate solicitors like the one on this website, all they are is educated criminals themselves. I mean, who else in society actively helps crooks get off after they've committed crimes? What makes someone want to do this?
Anyways that's my rant, it really annoys me is all
Daz.
