I know this isn't a place to advertise, but I am putting it up as a favour to all who are in the waiting list for a Jayco Eagle Offroad. It may be of interest to anyone on that I was at Hall's Caravans Mildura the other day and they had a brand new one in stock. Last i heard Jayco's waiting lists of up to 4 mths on these units so anyone after one this may help, ring Lynette 03 5021 3235, tell her Glenn from Berri mentioned her and I believe she will look after you.

Cheers

Hi Michael,

We solved the rear overhang by going to higher profile 16" wheels, also modified the back bumper. Departure angle is now greater than the Dove and in all honesty I believe the draw bar will contact any dips etc. before departure angle will come into effect.

Cheers hope you enjoy

Blaze, The standard hubs look to fit the partol and the earlier Land cruisers, i think, did you just put your own wheels on it? Michael

I used Mitsi rims but they are same pattern as Nissan etc, offset on Nissan may be a problem...

They are advertised i believe for around $22,000 but we paid $19,500 after a bit of haggling, this included the 3 awnings. We then spent a bit more on some other stuff but that was the base unit price.
