HI all, Is there a book or some sort of information on how the UHF Repeaters work and how to get the most benefit from them. I really have only used my UHF between cars at close range, Thanks everyone. Michael

Michael, have a look at www.acbro.org
If you don't find the answer there, send them a query.Be good, or be quick.

Rohan I posted a Q on repeaters the other day not knowing quite what I was trying to ask as I had no idea how they worked or who owned repeaters. I just followed up on the acbro site above and now I'm the full bottle. A great recommendation for anyone wanting to learn about 27/47 CB radios. Thanks for the tip. Carpe Diem

You're welcome. Its a pity its seems so few UHF users know about the organisation. With more support, perhaps we could improve UHF coverage, and etiquette (particularly in the cities).Be good, or be quick.

There is a bit of info at this site. Go to "On the road" scroll down to UHF Repeaters. Give a list of all in Aus and current status.
Catch ya on air!Let it never end!
