Savannah Way from Borolloola to
Normanton - could anyone please advise me of the road coditions on this section at the present time. I am towing a camper trailer with a Ford Territory AWD.

Do a search, there have been a few posts regarding this road over the past few weeks.

We travelled that way but in reverse two weeks ago with pajero and big caravan.
You will have no problem. There are some corrigations but the road is dry.
Remember there is no fuel at
Hells Gates.

We travelled a few weeks ago, the NT - QLD border area is very rough, great scenery all the way, take it slow because many of the DIPS dont have signs.
Also fuel is a bit lmted as Hells
gate and the other spot(cant remember) are both closed,
Enjoy

We have just done that section with a Terracan and a Coromal Magnum off road camper, road is a bit corrogated and the
creek crossings arent that deep. We passed some others towing with a Territory. Arrived in
Cairns two days ago.
No fuel at Hells
GAte,
Doomadgee or
Wollogorang unless its a real emergency. Call them to check.
