Can the rear seats in a Standard 100 Series be changed for ones from a GXL.
As the Standard seats are a single bench with centre lap
seat belt and the GXL has 60/30 split bench with centre Lap Sash
seat belt.
Cheers Kev

Kev,
I will be watching replies on this as
well, so I can't specifically help. I did however change the front seats in the pov pack, which are bucket and 1 3/4 passenger
seat to GXL seats from a wrecker and they fitted perfectly without modification. I then filled
the gap between the seats with an aftermarket console..worked out
well.
I would imagine the captive nuts would be the same?
Cheers,
Mark

Mark,
I already intend to do the front seats as
well and will probably end up getting Stratos
suspension seats.
But I am thinking about getting a poverty pack and giving it to Al & Mrs Al to do the chop into a Dual Cab, but SWMBO wants the GXL seats.
Cheers Kev

Hi Kev
just asked Al this question, he said you can, he said you need to "weld in a captive nut and modify an area of approx 100mm X 300mm of floor space, then everything else botls in"
He also added that you may require an engineer to check it .
If you want to chat to him, I think I gave him your number the other day.

Lyn,
Between you and Al, you are a wealth of information. What times are the best to call him?? Is he still in
Perth ATM as I'll have to allow for the time difference.
Thanks Kev
