well gob and denny are in the alice for a few days so if you see the cap or stickers on the car say goodday
2 questions maybe for harry or hairy
is the
owen springs track open from stuart hwy as there was flags and a chain across the entry
is
ross river open as a caravan
park again

Owen Springs....As far as I know it is open, I ve never heard or seen any different?? We drove past on Sunday and didnt notice anything. If your sure about what you saw it wouldnt hurt to call the rangers. ( let me know if you want me to)
As for
Ross River....Its never realy been a "caravan park" , but rather cabins near the pub and
camping sites across the river (bush pig bar). I havent been out there for a while, and the reports I hear about the place its still not operating very
well.
The only time I go out there is for a once a year bike run which is on again in a couple of weeks (25th August I think) so if you dont want to share your quite night with about 100 Harleys it might not be the best time to go. (more the merrier if it doesnt bother you!)

owen springs today
gate not locked and track open
what a beautiful drive
we went to
palm valley and then back to
owen springs good day out
we will go to tourist info tomorrow to check on
ross river as we dont want to tow the van 120ks to find we cant
park it out there for 1 reason or another
