You'd have to feel sorry for the poor bugga stuck a tree for a week to get away from the crocs.

Not on this occasion. A stockman was knocked off his horse up around Coen way. He walked into swamp country and realised he was surrounded by crocs.

I think he spent 6 days up a tree before being rescued.

Apparently it happened on the property of silver plains or old silver plains east of coen.

I heard the bloke talking on the radio saying that he had heard that his horse was back in the home paddock... he said he wouldn't believe it until he had seen it with his own eyes.
