Gold Detecting

Do any detector people want to hook up and go detecting .

I am Sydney based and retired , so I can get a week off any time - just about - I still need permission though !

I own some land on the Isabella and Abercrombie Rivers if anybody wants to give that a shot , or anywhere else - your choice .

I have just bought a detector and have had only 14 days experience at Nullagine - but I'm keen .

Cheers ,

Willie .

Hi Willie. Pity I'm too decrepit to go wandering around swinging my thing and chaining and digging old nails up.
We might have to change your screen name to "Beeper" :)
Talked to a guy who made some money that way. He said that when you evenyually found a good patch it was like picking up $50 notes...but I noticed that even though he's young and fit he hasn't been back :))))))))

Yes Footie , I have had my share of nails , staples and wire , to know what you mean .

I will never make money , just to have a bit of an adventure and enjoy myself .

Mmmmmm Sir Willie...so the bug has caught you?!

I was going to ask how you went out in the Pilbara. You must've found enough to whet your appetite? I have often thought about this hobby but don't ever seem to find the time for it. Too busy being 'retired'...lol

Cheers

Willem ,

I know . People ask me to do stuff and I reply "I haven't got time". Maybe we just run around in ever decreasing circles .

I have just been out to clear the drains and downpipes . It has been raining heavilly here all morning - and of course it's a job that I never think of doing until I look out the window and imagine myself under looking out from under a waterfall .

Re : the bug - YES !

Hi Willie, pity we're not in the same State. Have a look at MSN Detecting Group I'm sure that you'll find someone on that forum, more than willing to accompany you. Good luck with it.

Hello Martin ,

I bought a Minelab 4000 , but I have only used it in the backyard so far . When I went on the tagalong with Coiltek in Nullagine , I used a 3500 with some success .

I am keen to have a go around Isabella . Contact me here :
jigalongjigalongAThotmail.com (replace AT with @ )
I will give you my normal email address then .

Cheers ,

Willie .
