Evening everyone.

I have for the past 2-3months (when ever David started his fiddling) been experiencing all sorts of annoying gremlins when on the net ,and especially when logging into the EX-OZ site.

I just ignored it and put it down to the upgrades, duds, fixes etc etc and general IT guru failure like where I work, as it all gets sorted somewhere down the track.

About 4-5 days ago someone put on a post re how good everything had become ans YES! it had and I fully agreed with it.

In the mean time I have been running Mozila as a browser for the past 18 months. Over the npast 2 weeks it has been bugging to upgrade to FIREFOX as Mozilla itself is now defunct and will not be supported anymore.

So I Did 4-5 days ago.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel! what a transformation I must say.

I am now seeing things that I didn't before, the whole response/refresh rate has accelerated exponentially.

The Screen and web sites have stopped flickering like they had St Vitus's dance.

Just an Ace all round improvement.

So if you having glitches it may be worth while checking to make sure you are running an up to date web browser.

Hey! Muddy

I was going great guns with Mozilla as a stand alone platform, or thought I was.

Wasn't till the dread threat of cyber ex-communication was mentioned that I conceded defeat and made the change.

Just hate doing that Chit as in the past I have a couple of disasters.

However, must say the new FIREFOX browser is just ace

You guys probably don't like my choice of Opera but it is the one that others try to copy.Mine is vers 9.23 and a great tabbed browser. IE tried to copy a few of the features but are a long way behind. I just find the occasional times I need to load IE to get to what I need. Opera makes the internet sing!Opera site Comes in a version for PDAs too

OK.

Slight correction to my above reply.

At work I have both IE6 and Mozilla Firefox available.

Performance wise, they appear the same to me.

Still like IE6 as a preference.

To actually put on my IT hat for a sec, Firefox is a very good browser better in most circumstances IE but Mr Gates does have a handle on some Java sites.

We have had quite a few customers that surf certain sites to do with their businesses were FF overlaps some writting on pages. I use 3 Browsers on my system with Firefox being used the most. Its a bit like picture editing programs, I use about 5 of these for different functions I need.

Ooops!

Forgot to ask, what is Opera going to give me over and above the new FireFox platform that comes with all things Toyota apparently.

Don't say all things Nissan as they ahve been asigned to that wreck called IE.
