My 1985 Landcruiser is as rough as they come but faced with a replacement because of comfort considerations some ten years ago I replaced my wife's seat with a Stratos which has a 50mm vertical movement adjustable for the weight of the passenger. She was so pleased with it a fitted one for myself. Seats cost around $1600 each but saved me some $65000 on a new cruiser. OK, l now have a 23 year old vehicle with 300000 km on clock but just finished a 9000 km trip and still going strong. We are both 75 yrs young and hope to get another ten years on the road.
