Thier still out there, those parentless mixed breed of K9's who unselfishly gave me 3 little pressies in the form of win32/virut,trojan horse generic 5 hma and win32/ ns anti b otherwise known as virises, they shut the whole PC down and caused a right merry dance, fortunately I had the sense to create 3 seperate drives so the only real damage was windows which was toasted, but as my programs were installed on seperate drives they were saved,
you just have to believe in Karma, one day mate you'll get yours,

A personal Firewall and Anti Virus software pays for itself in no time. I'm surprised there are still people flirting with "danger".

Hi Dave - try AVAST - it is virus software that is free, and automatically updates each time you are on the net. It runs in the background from the moment the puter is turned on, checks memory, emails, downloads etc. Havent had one slip past since it was installed a few years back.....................keith

The opening post is a bit disrespectful to our canine friends.
