Tax cheque time lol
Am looking at having a bit more versatility for short trip down the bottom end & over the other side of this great Peninsula i live on called the
Yorke Peninsula
I have a old camper trailer which alot of you know but find it cumbersome to erect at times ( getting old lol ) and also times when its not practical to take on a over nighter down
the beach etc
I'm leaning towards the oz tent rv5 with all the trimmings
Id like to get some thoughts on what people either think or have experienced with these 3 set ups
I will probably end up just using the trailer for a
camp kitchen & storage with one of these set ups

G day Mate !
Long time no see ..
Give Diver1 ( member ) an email from here, they ( Nathan &
Laura ) have a Black wolf Turbo +. Not seen that one up yet ,,but no doubt will,,, they need the room, as they still in " expansion mood ".
They love it, their 2nd one, and I can vouch for their toughness,,
We went on our last trip with them, and a couple of times it blew its guts out, no dramas at all.
We have a Safari tent, as
well as the Trak Shak, and we use both, depending on the conditions.
There is a Safari tent out there, with an extension out the back, which we seen at East McDonald Caravan
Park in
Alice Springs, that impressed me.
Anyway look after yourself, and may see you around the traps.
Cheers
Bucky

G'day. We've got a Turbo 300. Quick and easy to put up & take down, good in the wind, quality materials, good tub base for the wet and packs reasonably small. Wouldn't swap it. Check out some of the old discussions on the
forum. cya

Hi there Chef..which ever you decide on, make sure you get the Fly..Prevents internal condensation..keeps exterior dry..no need to wait for the sun before packing up.keeps your roof clean from bird droppings and tree gum..and allows a cooling barrier from the sun during a long stay. Both are excellent tents.

G'day Warren,
Like you, I am planning the addition of a tent to my conglomeration of
camping apparatus.
I have also narrowed my choice down to either the Oztent, or the Black Wolf Turbo.
The one plus of the Oztent in my opinion is the larger front awning which can double as a practical roof over the cooking/living area between the tent and the car.
The Turbo's awning looks to small to be of much practical beneift.
Just my thoughts.

I just went through the same process and ended up buying a Black Wolf Turbo 300. I chose the Black Wolf over the Oztent because it has a high roof other a great portion of the base thean the Oztent. We just got back from our first rtip with it (three
campsite in three days) and found it excellent. Super fast up, reasonably fast down.
