Is TCIS always this slow in getting back to you for a quote on vehicle insurance.
I have sent 4 email enquiries and have left countless messages on the Sydney offices phone for them to call me to arrange insurance for the Cruiser when it has been converted.
It has been about 3 weeks since the first contact was made with them.

Any ideas??

Cheers Kev

from memory mine was a 5 week saga, but well worth the effort. The level of insurance (vehicle and camping gear) far exceeded what I had with my previous insurer.

Hi Kev,
I got a quote off TCIS for insurance and it was a major drama. Which made me onder how I would go if I needed to make a claim. The insurance was underwritten by someone my old man had never heard of(been in the insurance game for over 25 years). I ended up sticking with western qbe who were cheaper than tcis and gave me better cover for what I was after.

Matt,

I have been on to Suncrop and they will insure it when the mods are complete so if TCIS are not forthcoming I at least will have someone to insure it.

Cheers Kev

If a company is hard to deal with before they have your business & money they will be a nightmare to deal with later when you really need them.

Personally i would be knocking on someone else's door.

Hi Kev.
I insured my new camper trailer through TCIS.
After arranging cover over the phone, paper work took 2 weeks to arrive from their Adelaide office.
I have been dealing with them for years & usually their service is spot on.
Regards.

Vince,

I have not even gotten that far, I have made numerous email and phone about getting insurance.
I find it very hard to comprehend how they could arrange insurance with out at least knowning what they are going to insure.
