Thanks Willie for sharing those photos.
I showed my kids 10 & 7 who got a bit kick out them - they have been studying aboriginal culture at school.
Can't wait to get out and about in this great country of ours and see them first hand....hopefully early next year for about 2 years!
Thanks again....Trace.

Nice ones Willie.
Presumably they are mostly
Kimberley stuff, but some of them are not pieces in the
places that I frequent... it would be nice to know where they were taken.
Cheers
Andrew.

Andrew ,
All the Bradshaws are
Kimberley - Drysdale NP ( Carson Escarpment ) ,
Mitchell Plateau , Admiralty Gulf ( chopper and hiking ) and a couple of "secret spots" !
The non Bradshaws are a mixture of
Kimberley ,
Pilbara ,
Little Sandy Desert etc .

That was taken in the Admiralty Gulf (
Kimberley ) last winter . Have you been in there - it's a special place ?

No not at all. I'd have to go through all our photos from last year to find where I took the photo. We saw 90% of the aboriginal art in the
Kimberley.

Just checked our photos. Not the same photo buta similar one we took at the Mitchelle Plateau. Think from memory it was on the wall where you have to rock hop across the river below Little
Merton and before you get to
Merton Falls.

Dunc ,
I know
the overhang you are talking about . There is a great Bradshaw scene of two tribes throwing spears at each other . I cannot remember a roo there , but that means nothing when you have a memory like
mine .

Willie you could be right there. I couldn't find the photo but my wife did and I'm sure it was in the
Mitchell Plateau. Mmmm I'll have to recheck when I get home. If it wasn't where I thought, then the only other place where we saw masses of art was in
Kakadu.
Saw minor galleries in El Q, East MacDonald Ranges and Mt Augustus. East Macs was mostly petrographs though

Willem ,
The
Grey Gnomad is my signature picture on the Bushtracker website , so I thought I would give it a fling on here too . Gotta keep changing things , or I get a bit bored .

Excellent work there. No 30 and 35 were of special interest. Thanks for sharing. They should be copyrighted. You should attach a note at the bottom that prevents people from using then for commercial purposes without your permission.

Thanks for the compliment Shameem .
I think in the case of non Bradshaw art , the traditional owners have the copyright . Not absolutely sure though .
Cheers ,
Willie .
