Thanks Richard,
It was looking at your photos that made me get moving with putting
mine together.
So, thank you and sorry I didn't say that earlier. Your photos were very good and I really enjoyed looking through them.
Best wishes
Viv

Yes I like the site, easy to use and I'm not sure of the upload limit but it's much bigger the my bigpond site.
I have also used the photos after I re-downloaded the on this site in
places, saved me re-sizing them all.
Cheers
Richard

Good pics Vivien. Enjoyed looking through them. The Simpson pictures have showed quite a change from the period we did it just three years ago. There was a lot more vegetation and less wind blown sand evident then. You will meet the friends we made crossing The Simpson at
The Pyrenees - Navigator 1 from NSW

Thanks John,
Since this was our first trip we thought there was a lot more vegetation than we'd expected. We were a few weeks too late for the flowers to be at their best. I enjoyed travelling on the QAA line where there were bigger trees and grassed areas but don't have photos. My camera battery was really low and I wanted to make sure I could take us on top of Big Red. I'll never go away without a spare battery again!
When you were there must have been spectactular. It's certainly amazing country out there. I especially loved the red sand and all those ripples!! You could go crazy trying to photograph them all!!!
Best Wishes,
Looking forward to
the Pyrenees.

Nice one Viv.
Takes me back. Have seen it several times now - mid summer 2000 through to almost an english garden (in about 2002) wild flowers and
water -. Had to detour up Eyre
Creek detour -
well worth it you're lucky enough.
As I am on dial-up, it takes a while to load - but when you get there ... the patterns take me right back.
Cheers
Chris

Hello & thanks Chris,
I can see from the photos in your gallery that you are really into patterns. Your shots are beautiful.
It was difficult not to get carried away taking the patterns in the sand of the ripples and then the different colours of the salt lakes.
Then there were the sunsets!!!
Oh,
well - we'll just have to go back again!!

Thanks RnR,
I've just checked your photos out and they are great. I see you've been across the
Gary Junction Road. We went that way last year and really enjoyed it.
All the best,
Viv

Thanks for sharing your photos with us Vivien. The green below Big Red was a stark contrast. Love
the desert colours.

Thanks for the comments Vivien. I just set the tripod up and took a photo every 10min or so on sunset and the difference in the colours was amazing.
