If anyone one is in the Mid Nth Coast region of NSW you may want to get more info on a world record attempt at the most 4wd's in one place. I think it is at
Wauchope somewhere (not far from Pt Macquarie). I will copy and paste from recent newsletter I received, I also heard it advertised on radio as I went past Pt Macquarie the other day.
"November 11
The event will be on the 11th of November with invitations going out to 4WD clubs from
Sydney up to the border.
The aim of the day is to set a World Record for the largest gathering of 4WDs as
well as raising money for the Port Macquarie Base Hospital Kids Ward for a much needed Monitoring System.
Every 4WD will be charged a flat rate of $20 regardless of how many people are inside. On a number of 2500 that will raise $50,000.00. We are expecting lots of suppliers at the gathering plus there will be plenty of entertainment for the kids!
We are custom building a 4WD track where anyone can test out their 4WD skills for a small donation.

I hope this is of interest to someone. Sadly I will be entrenched in business meetings about this time but if the opportunity arrises, I will skip for a few days and come down.
Regards, Trevor.

Thats funny, because to date, the local 4WD club I am in has not been contacted regarding this at all.

Forgot to add, that my 4WD club is in Port Macquarie, so dont know why a local club should be left out of this.

Yeah, thought if anyone would know about it, you would. After all, right on your doorstep so to speak.
Hope you find it of interest to anyone in the area.
Cheers, Trevor.
