Hi Boc
Not real familiar with the upper Barringtons however try this link:
Barrington Tops

Woko National Park (about 25mins from Gloucester) has a small campground alongside a river and easy to keep an eye on the rugrats. It has electric bbqs and relatively new pit toilets.

Aslo try Bretti Reserve (where my rig pic was taken) which is a bit further along, this is a bit bigger campground however it only about 300 metres off Thunderbolts Way and may get a bit busy due to its easy access. Woko would be my pick of the two.

Cheers

You can't go past Water Gauge camp site. No facilities but excellent. It is not in the NP so fire wood is not a problem. We were up there on the long weekend in October and it was great.

Jim's Place at the junction of the Barrington and Cobark Rivers. Long drop only, river fantastic, can have fires and lots of space. Don't forget it can snow in summer up there.
