I have noticed all BP stations in NW suburbs of
Sydney have no premium unleaded and it has been that way for a couple of days. Anyone know what the story is?
Also went into Shell today and they have some 100 octane fule and they are selling it $0.20 more than standard unleaded but it has ethanol in it. Anyone tried it?

Have heard from a few people with performance cars (WRXs, EVOs, Porsches etc) that shell premium (98 octane) can leave a white deposit on the plugs unless the car is really driven hard most of the time.
Doesn't seem to happen on track days. :o)
Performance is OK though.

I think they know there is a price hike in fuel shortly, so are keeping the dearer stuff till last.
A bigger profit margin.
